Wang Yuliang, Lecturer at the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lanzhou University, obtained his Ph.D. degree in Urban Design from the School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2021.

Event Overview:

In this lecture, Lecturer Wang will provide a detailed account of the challenges one may face while studying in New Zealand, encompassing strategies for adjusting mindset and overcoming practical difficulties. The aim is to assist students in embarking on a healthy and fulfilling journey of studying abroad.

Additionally, Wang will share unique experiences from his pursuit of a Ph.D. in New Zealand. This will include engaging in topic discussions, interacting with mentors and research teams, and completing a thesis. The hope is that students can draw inspiration from his study abroad experience, gaining insights from different perspectives on life, learning, and research both domestically and internationally. This broader outlook aims to help students break self-imposed limitations, ultimately achieving a comprehensive enhancement of personal capabilities.
